Four High-Level Marine Talent Projects Have Settled Down at the Headquarters of the East Asia Marine Cooperation Platform Successively

Since this year, the East Asia Marine Cooperation Platform has further improved its functions to give full play to its spillover effect. Adhering to the principle of “attracting wisdom and talents through the Contest”, it keeps improving the function of integrating industries and talents by taking measures to promote entity operation, including holding the first Global Marine Tech Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest, exploring the establishment of the International Marine Chamber of Commerce Association Alliance (IMCCAA), and building the bridge and link for gathering international marine industry projects and talents.

Up to now, the Shanghai Contest, Shenzhen Contest, and Ningbo Contest of the 2021 Global Marine Tech Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest have all finished. Upon fierce competition, a total of 12 high-quality marine projects were shortlisted for the final of the Contest. The IMCCAA operating agency, incorporated on August 5th, has officially settled down at the headquarters of the East Asia Maritime Cooperation Platform. Twenty-six international marine associations from more than 10 countries, including the Singapore Shipping Association, Malaysia Shipowners' Association, and the Russian Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises, have applied for membership.  

By now, four high-level marine talent projects among the projects selected by the Contest, namely the "Portable Waters Intelligent Unmanned Equipment" Project of Shenzhen Chasing-Innovation Technology Co., Ltd., the “New Energy Permanent Magnet Ship Drive System” Project of CSIC 712 Research Institute, the “Spatial Information Technology Application” of Qingdao Beidouxingtu Information Technology Co., Ltd. introduced by the IMCCAA, and the “Integrated Key Technologies of Offshore Oil-Gas Field Development Engineering” Project of the Qingdao Oillink Information and Technology Corporation Limited, have settled down at the headquarters of the platform (Qingdao West Coast New Area).

Going forward, the East Asia Marine Cooperation Platform will insist on institutional innovations to accelerate entity construction, expand the functions of the platform as a carrier continuously to introduce a batch of high-tech industrial projects, cultivate a batch of high-end marine enterprises, and gather a batch of international organizations, and strive to build a high-quality platform for the development of the marine economy to fully serve the implementation of the provincial strategy of founding a powerful province of marine economy and the building of Qingdao into a leading modern ocean city.  



The "Portable Waters Intelligent Unmanned Equipment" Project of Shenzhen Chasing-Innovation Technology Co., Ltd.

Founded in April 2016, Shenzhen Chasing-Innovation Technology Co., Ltd. is a leading enterprise of underwater robots that has world-leading technologies and integrates robot development, production, and sales. Its products have been distributed to more than 40 countries and regions worldwide. It has a variety of underwater robot products, covering fields such as underwater photography, aquaculture, emergency rescue, and safety inspection. Featuring mature technologies, wide product applications, and huge market potential, the "Portable Waters Intelligent Unmanned Equipment" Project, if implemented smoothly, will drive the development of underwater robots in the Qingdao West Coast New Area and the surrounding areas.  

The “New Energy Permanent Magnet Ship Drive System” Project of CSIC 712 Research Institute

Taking the development of new energy ships as an opportunity, the Project has made breakthroughs in several key technologies, including the low-vibration low-noise permanent magnet motor and driver design, the low-vibration low-noise frequency conversion control strategy, and the drive system matching research. By developing prototypes and conducting test verification for them, it has built a series of autonomous and controllable compact ship drivers and high-power-density, low-vibration, and low-noise permanent magnet motors with complete intellectual property rights and established relevant standards, which empowers it the ability of bulk supply of integrated power systems.


The “Spatial Information Technology Application” of Qingdao Beidouxingtu Information Technology Co., Ltd.

Dominated by the team of Jin Fengxiang, a foreign academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, the Project is positioned in the high-end scientific and technological innovation, industrial transformation, and ecosystem construction, as well as talent cultivation and reserve of the spatial information. Focusing on the research directions, such as “Beidou+" Digital Twin City, Industrial Internet and Intelligent Manufacturing, artificial intelligence for disaster prevention, and marine environmental treatment big data, it aims to promote the industrial transformation of spatial information scientific achievements and the in-depth evolution of scientific research based on the existing research achievements of composite technology applications and  scenario-based core algorithms, including Beidou Navigation Satellite, Remote Sensing and GIS Technology, 3D Laser Scanning, 5G, and AI. It covers various aspects of the urban safety and ecological safety fields, such as urban rail transit, highway transportation, port storage and transportation, mine safety, natural resources, marine environment, and regional disaster monitoring. Based in Qingdao and Jinan in Shandong, it intends to serve the whole of China.

The “Integrated Key Technologies of Offshore Oil-Gas Field Development Engineering” Project of the Qingdao Oillink Information and Technology Corporation Limited

Dominated by the team of Professor Li Zongtian, a foreign academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, the Project cooperates with Qingdao Oillink Information and Technology Corporation Limited to promote the industrialization of scientific research achievements in the field of petroleum engineering. Around the three mature scientific research achievements of the team of Professor Li Zongtian: oil production method comprehensive evaluation and decision-making system, oil & water well casing damage mechanism and prevention and control technology, and low-permeability dense deep oil-gas reservoirs fracturing improvement technology, it intends to set up a professional operation team to carry out testing, production, marketing and technical iteration for the research achievements. The overall investment in the project is 60 million yuan, and a 10-member team will be built initially. The output value is expected to exceed 60 million yuan within three years.
